Ideal for street lighting, commercial spaces, and urban infrastructure, our octagonal poles are corrosion-resistant, precision fabricated, and built for long-term outdoor durability in demanding environmental conditions.
Tapered Octagonal Cross-Section : The pole shaft features a continuous taper and an eight-sided (octagonal) cross-section. This design is engineered to distribute wind loads and mechanical stresses more efficiently than round or square profiles, enhancing stability and wind resistance.
Manufacturing Process : The poles are typically manufactured from a single sheet of steel, which is cut, press-shaped, and joined by a single, continuous longitudinal weld using an automatic Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) process. This avoids circumferential welds in the main shaft, a potential weak point.
Corrosion Protection : The standard finish is a hot-dip galvanization process, which applies an average zinc coating thickness of 65-70 microns. This offers long-lasting resistance to rust and corrosion in harsh outdoor environments. An optional powder coating can provide an additional protective layer and aesthetic finish.
